When I was a student, I used Microsoft Word in all of my English and literature classes to write essays. Also, I utilized Microsoft in my history classes when I wrote research papers. Microsoft word is a program in which the majority of all classes use it. My teachers would also use Microsoft to write reports and examples to show the class. Microsoft word is just a useful program that it used by all students and teachers.
I have not had much experience with copyright but the one I do remember had to do with turnitin.com. Basically, I turned in an essay and it detected 58% plagiarism because of the sources I had sited. Sometimes some softwares are not accurate and do not know how to properly decipher plagiarism every time. As a teacher, I would make sure that the students work that's flagged for copyright was a mistake. If it was not a mistake then I would take appropriate measures like giving them a failing grade for that assignment.
The three issues I would provide a solution to would be cyberbullying, academic honesty, and privacy. The solution for cyberbullying would be informing students to be kind to others and that even though it is online and not face-to-face, words still hurt. When it comes to academic honesty I would tell students the great importance of creating your own work and not stealing some one elses ideas. I would inform them that not having academic honesty can lead to failure and even suspension. For privacy I would advise them to be careful who they talk to in the internet and to not give out personal information to anyone.

Copyright is more than plagiarism. It is about fair use of other people's intellectual property. Plagiarism is the red line but there is also a gray area that is surely not plagiarism but might be using IP without giving property credit. It is all about respecting other people's work and effort.
